Vy från Sjøhøgda - sydöst, 2017 - postcard
A Hiker's Art is a series of postcards with hand-painted motifs from Dalafjällen, which I painted in gouache while I was out on hiking trips.
This motif is of the view from Sjøhøgda, a height shared by the Swedish-Norwegian border on the western side of Grövelsjön. I painted this on a rainy and windy summer day, when the rain showers danced around the valleys below. At the bottom, the outflow of Grövelsjön can be seen. I sat on the Norwegian side, but painted the Swedish valley in the southeast.
The postcards cost SEK 20 each, 6 for SEK 100! (Enter the discount code Paketpris at check-out)
(By the way, there are also some bundles where I've collected all paintings from Idre-Fulufjäll, Grövelsjön or the Entire Collection! You'll find them listed in the shop.)
