En vandrares konst is a series of postcards with hand-painted scenes from the mountains in Dalarna, which I've painted in gouache while I've been out hiking.
This painting is of Mellersta Fosksjön, a lake below the highest mountain in Dalarna, Storvätteshågna in Grövelsjön. Many people choose to set up camp here during their travels, including me. But this was painted during a daytrip in late summer, when the mountain sides shimmered in orange hues in the sun.
